Jakki's art reflects her love of colour and texture
Jakki's understanding of natures elements and belief in the harmony of life inspire her beautiful contemporary creations.
Jakki's work expresses the courage to challenge our senses. The calming influence of brilliant sunsets, coastal beaches, native trees, birds and wildlife all help her to capture the flow of her emotions through her paintings. From unique smaller works to her larger creations, every painting evokes her passion for bold colours and textures.

Her contemporary style has evolved through many years of expressing her feelings on canvas, she breathes life into every piece with each brushstroke.
“We wanted something that expressed our experience living by the water in Portarlington.
Jakki’s painting captures the energy and beauty of the bay and coastline that hugs our home.
It’s alive with the ever changing color and movement of the water and the magic of the sea life below is enhanced with a variety of interesting textures.
The unique features of the shoreline explode with a stunning array of shapes and colors. Vibrant reds, yellows, orange and browns of the shore share the canvas with the blues and greens of the water.
We just love it!” - Julie Elterman & Phil Cameron, Portarlington Vic.
"Jakki's imagination knows no boundaries." - Susan M, Melbourne Vic.
